Tonya Davis Barber

Tonya is a 2011 graduate of North Carolina Central School of Law.  Before law school, she attended Mount Olive College (now the University of Mount Olive) while working full-time as a paralegal.  Upon graduation from law school, she worked briefly in bankruptcy before going to work as an assistant district attorney.  After working as an ADA for several years, she then became a magistrate.  Missing the courtroom, she decided to open Barber Law in 2018.  In 2023, she merged Barber Law with Webster Law where she is now a partner in Barber & Webster, PLLC.

Tonya is married with two children.  She resides in Goldsboro and is heavily involved in her community.  She has served on many boards including the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation and the Boys & Girls Club.  She is currently the President of the Wayne County Bar Association (and has been since 2009.)  In her free time, she likes to spend time traveling with her family.  


Walter Scott Webster

Walter is a 2008 graduate of The Norman A. Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University.  He graduated with his BS from UNC in 2000.  He is originally from Durham, NC but chose to move to Goldsboro to provide legal services to our citizens due to the shortage of attorneys at the time.   He has practiced criminal law almost exclusively and currently represents clients with charges of minor traffic all the way up to capital murder.  

Walter has three boys that he enjoys spending time with.  He also enjoys spending time playing rugby and and formerly coached youth ice hockey all over the US for over a decade.  Walter is an Eagle Scout and has been awarded The Founder’s Award as well as The Vigil Honor.
